introduces a new family of Adaptec Unified Serial Controllers

subcontinent, today announced availability of new range of Unified Serial RAID
Controllers from Adaptec Inc, a global leader of trusted storage solutions,
that offer the broadest choice in performance, data protection, and cost for
next generation PCIe (PCI Express) connectivity.
The newest
family of Adaptec Unified Serial RAID controllers delivers the most choices for
connecting to high-capacity Serial ATA (SATA) drives and high-performance
Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) drives, including redundant path failover and a
low-profile form factor that is ideal for high-density servers and
workstations.
Adaptec
Unified Serial Controllers come in four models. The
low-profile design RAID 3405 and Raid 3805 come with four and eight internal
ports respectively. RAID 31205 and RAID 31605, have 12 and 16 internal ports,
respectively. The RAID 3085 features eight external ports and dual-path
failover, providing external data path redundancy.
