Sterlite Optical Technologies, which has recently announced the commercial launch of LAN cables under the brand name "SuperLAN", has announced Cyberstar Infocom Ltd. as its national distributor for its SuperLAN cables.

Sterlite SuperLAN Cables are available in Cat 5e and Cat 6 variants. They are suitable for transmission of high-speed data, digital & analog voice and video signals on LANs. These cables support Gigabit Ethernet standards and are compatible with all common systems, according to EN 50173, ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA/EIA 568-B. Mr. Raj Rathi, Managing Director, Cyberstar Infocomm, states, "We are extremely pleased with this important tie-up with Sterlite Optical. Right now we are distributing Netgear and SMC through our Networking Division. We are adding a whole new dimension to Cyberstar's business with Sterlite Optical's products."
